E0 Finder
A free, personal tool for finding ethanol-free gas
E0 Finder helps motorcyclists, boaters and owners of older engines find stations that sell gasoline without ethanol, near them or along a planned trip.
What it isn't
- It isn't a business. There are no ads, no fees and no accounts, and the app will always be free to use. I may add a link for voluntary donations to help cover server and other infrastructure costs.
- It doesn't sell or share data. It keeps no personal information; usage reports are anonymous counts.
- It isn't affiliated with pure-gas.org or with any fuel brand or station.
Who runs it
I'm Mike, a long-distance motorcyclist. I built E0 Finder for my own trips, because finding ethanol-free fuel 200 miles from home is harder than it should be. I may share it with a few fellow riders.
Where the station information comes from
- pure-gas.org, the volunteer-maintained directory of ethanol-free stations, used under its Creative Commons BY-NC 3.0 license.
- What some fuel chains publish on their own public websites about which stores sell ethanol-free fuel. Each such listing names the chain and links to its own store page.
- Optional airport fuel listings from FAA airport data and flyunleaded.com (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Chain information is read gently (a few pages an hour), never resold, shown with credit, and never includes prices or logos.
For fuel brands and station owners: if you'd like your listings changed or removed, email mike@e0finder.org and I'll act on it within a few days. If you offer an official data feed, I'd gladly use that instead.
